Hosting

Hosting by Cloudflare We use the system of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, USA (“Cloudflare”), for hosting and displaying website content based on processing on our behalf. All data collected on our website is processed on Cloudflare’s servers. We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (“Data Processing Agreement”, available at https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/) with Cloudflare, obligating the provider to protect our users’ data and not to disclose it to third parties.

No further processing takes place on servers other than the Cloudflare servers mentioned above.

Data collection when visiting our website

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (see above) and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare processes limited personal data such as IP addresses, HTTP request metadata (e.g., visited URLs, referrer information, browser type), and aggregated analytics data. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and provides anonymized, aggregated insights.

This data is processed and stored by Cloudflare in accordance with the GDPR and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the stability and functionality of our website. Data is not disclosed or used otherwise. However, we reserve the right to subsequently check server log files if there are concrete indications of unlawful use.

We only transfer your personal data, which you voluntarily provide to us when using the contact form, to the third-party provider Cloudflare (see above). This is because we use a third-party provider as a service provider for providing the contact form. The transfer takes place via an encrypted data connection. Feedback form

We only transfer your personal data, which you voluntarily provide to us when using the feedback form, to the third-party provider GitHub. We take your feedback on errors on the homepage and accessibility issues very seriously and want to resolve these issues as efficiently as possible. Therefore, we use GitHub as a service provider for managing and processing bugs. The transfer takes place via an encrypted data connection.

Your data is processed and stored by GitHub in accordance with the GDPR. A data processing agreement has been concluded with GitHub, obligating the provider to protect our users’ data and not to disclose it to third parties.
